I find in Beijing that restaurants and shops to claim to mimic american food often are a little off in taste: pastries lack richness, pizza sauce is off, and ground beef seems dry and rubbery.
The food in Lily's was OK. I had the pull pork sandwich and fries, and a peanut butter milkshake. All the food was good. The milkshake was every bit as tasty and rich as what I would find in a US diner. |
