| Another Nanluoguxiang bar well worth a visit if like me you appreciate live music. As the name suggests, expect lots of finger-picking and some more eccentric performances. Come early if you want a seat because it gets pretty crowded as soon as the musicians pick up their instruments. |

If you like listening to acoustic covers of 'Hotel California' and 'Scarborough Fair,' this is the place for you! A recent trip to Nan Luogu Xiang saw no fewer than three covers (presumably by different, though similarly untalented, soft-core troubadours) of 'Hotel California' in less than an hour's time -- all clearly audible from several cafes down the street, thanks to the Guitar Bar owners' thoughtful decision to hang speakers outside the bar and turn the volume up all the way.
This place is a perfect example of the cancer that has metastasized all up and down Nan Luogu Xiang. Kill it. Kill it with fire. |

| Beautiful live music played by one or two guitarists less than 1 meter from your table. Always crowded but that is at least in part because it’s such a tiny place. Arrive early if you don't want to watch from outside. |
