Tonkatsu and Curry Rice is an icon of hidden treature at WuDaoKou. It isn't the kind of restaurant you want to dine out with your new gf or bf, but definitely you'll love to eat there with your mates or your gf/bf after you guys've been going out for a while. It's so simple and casual with posters and flyers sticking all around. Band players always hang out there after having practice since it opens till late night. For me, I just love its well prepared curry rice!
When I arrived at the Secret Garden Cafe I was impressed by its stylish doorway, it's very straightforward. The owner studied Architecture at QingHua University and, as you will see, every single item in this cafe is carefully designed in a modern and simple way. Square-shapes take the lead in this cafe - from tables to chairs to plates and even the meals. Very admirable. Of course food is great! Suitable for couples dining out.
A casual and cozy korean restaurant at WuDaoKou. Food is great. The staff is friendly and nice! There's always large groups having dinner there and the meals are easy to share. Also, the managers are genuinely nice people and are bent on impressing you so you needn't worry about asking too much!
Though Tafi is not located in the busiest venue at WuDaoKou, it doesn’t get in the way for me and my friend finding it. It's actually a cozy and nice restaurant! We girls welcome the mini buffet coz it's so fresh and vegetarian and it's amazingly only 29rmb per person during lunch time. There is always free coffee which is nice. The service is excellent too! Try their crispy pizza or spaghetti!
What I like about LUSH is its casual and simple style. The whole bar's filled with dark wooden tables and chairs which reminds you the time when you hanging out with a bunch of mates back to uni. The music is always good, chill-out, funcky and sometimes chilli. Also, there're always things going on, such as Open Mic, Movies, Live Bands, etc. AND, try their cocktails!! You're gonna love it!
