I found the staff to be very helpful when I rented camping equipment. My friend and I got two sleeping bags and a tent. Prices are incredibly inexpensive and the equipment is name brand. They even have bags for taller men. Most equipment is for sale although they rent almost everything necessary to camp as well.
According to the website this is one of the biggest outdoor stores in Beijing. I can't vouch for that however I can say that it was very difficult to find ANY place to rent gear. Sanfo is probably the easiest among the difficult to find rental outlets.
