Been hearing and reading about this place for quite a long time.I think they won the That's Beijing 2007 Best Thai Award (not sure, could be wrong). Finally tried it out last Sunday. Can't say that I was that much impressed. The food was good but nothing so memorable. Service was ok but also nothing special. We were sitting outside so didn't have a very close look at the indoor decor. I somehow got the impression that it looked like a typical Chinese restaurant.
The place is not bad at all. I guess it's just when your expectations are higher, you tend to feel let down. It might not worth traveling across half a city, but could be a good option if you are in the neighborhood and not expecting to be wowed. The price is reasonable. Oh and they serve this bottled coke that I haven't seen in Beijing for years.
